ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 40W Bi-Color Portable LED Light Panel
Our Verdict
I recently integrated the ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 into my daily kit to see if a pocket-sized light could truly replace heavier studio gear. Testing this 40W powerhouse across various shooting environments proved that it is far more than just a backup light source.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is impressively robust for a device weighing only 320g, feeling solid in the hand without adding unnecessary weight to a camera bag. The DynaVort Cooling System is a standout feature, effectively managing the heat from the 40W output and ensuring the unit stays cool during extended shoots.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the dual control wheels makes adjusting brightness and temperature quick and intuitive, allowing for precise tweaks on the fly. The PD fast charging support is a massive convenience, letting me top off the battery between locations so I never worry about running out of juice mid-session.
This light is perfect for travel photographers and vloggers who prioritize high output and extreme portability.
